Exceptional Genetics & Colouration

The Pearl Fee phenotype combines the striking effects of Pearl patterning with the Fee colour-modifying mutation, producing beautifully muted pigmentation and intricate feather contrasts.

The Fee mutation is generally described as an autosomal recessive trait, meaning offspring must inherit two copies of the mutation to express its characteristic colour modification. Combining these genetic characteristics through selective breeding makes Pearl Fee an especially attractive variety for specialist breeders and colour genetics enthusiasts.
